CloakBrowser information
What is CloakBrowser?
CloakBrowser is a stealth Chromium browser built for developers and browser automation teams using Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, or CDP. It is designed for public web data, QA automation, website monitoring, scraping pipelines, and AI-agent workflows where standard Chromium automation can become fragile.
Teams can migrate existing Playwright or Puppeteer workflows with minimal code changes and run CloakBrowser locally or in infrastructure they control on Windows, macOS, Linux, Docker, and VPS environments. It supports persistent profiles, reproducible browser identities, proxy-aware configuration, human-like interaction timing, and a CDP server mode.
The Python, JavaScript, and .NET wrapper is MIT-licensed. The custom Chromium binary is distributed separately under a proprietary license, with free access for one concurrent browser session and paid subscriptions for higher concurrency. CloakBrowser does not include a proxy network or CAPTCHA-solving service.
