What is Clip File Sharing?

Clip is a modern, privacy-first file sharing, text publishing, and temporary upload platform that requires zero accounts, zero signups, and zero tracking.

Core Capabilities: • Clip Beam (P2P Transfer): Send large files (multi-gigabyte videos, ISOs, archives) directly browser-to-browser over encrypted WebRTC connections without any server upload limit. • Zero-Knowledge Encryption: Encrypt text and files directly in your browser using AES-256-GCM before uploading. Decryption keys never reach the server. • Live Pad: A real-time collaborative notepad with instant WebSocket sync, split markdown/KaTeX math preview, and Phone Pair QR code support. • Multi-File Bundles & Custom URLs: Share multiple files on a single link with vanity URLs (e.g. clip.foo.ng/my-notes) and secret edit codes. • Self-Destruct Timers: Links can be set to auto-expire in 1 hour, 6 hours, 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, or kept permanent. Uploaded files automatically vanish after 2 hours. • Terminal Friendly: Fetch raw text or ZIP files via CLI with simple curl commands (curl -sL clip.foo.ng/r/slug).

Clip is 100% free and open-source under the MIT license.
