Clera

Clera turns Instagram Reels you saved and never rewatched into structured notes: recipes become ingredients and steps, travel reels become place lists, tutorials become numbered steps.

What is Clera?

Your Instagram saved folder has hundreds of reels you will never rewatch. Recipes, travel ideas, workout routines, home projects. You saved them in good faith. You never went back.

Clera fixes the retrieval problem, not the saving problem. Share a reel from Instagram directly to Clera using the iOS share sheet. Clera downloads the video, transcribes it, and runs it through a vision model that understands what kind of content it is. A recipe comes back as an ingredient list and numbered method. A travel reel comes back as a list of places and tips. A tutorial comes back as numbered steps. A workout comes back as exercises, sets, and reps.

The result lands in your Clera library as a readable card. No video to scrub. No re-listening to find the one detail you needed. The structure is there when you want to cook the thing, book the trip, or follow the workout.

Clera is built for instructional content. It does not try to summarize news clips, comedy, or talking-head commentary. It is narrow on purpose: the people who get the most out of it are the ones with a real backlog of how-to reels they meant to use and never did.

Stack: Flutter (iOS and Android), FastAPI backend, Gemini 2.5 Flash for vision and extraction, Whisper for transcription. Built by a solo founder. Actively maintained.
