What is ClaySys AppForms?
ClaySys AppForms is a metadata-driven LowCode apps forms and workflow builder.
What does that mean?
AppForms lets you build forms using a simple drag and drop operations, then define a logic behind those forms so that the data can be sent/stored according to the logic you need.
The forms built in AppForms can be connected to various data sources such as SharePoint list, SQL database, Stored Procedure, RESTful service, and Azure table.
The forms are fully responsive and can run on any device because the final output is HTML 5.
The form data (which is the backbone of the forms built using AppForms) is saved in a JSON file. Every time the form needs to be run, the data is fetched from this JSON file. Since the form relies on this metadata to store everything, even if a form was built on an older version of AppForms, it will keep working on all future updates.
AppForms can also be used for building workflows using the same drag and drop operations.

Said about ClaySys AppForms as an alternative
AppForms can do everything PowerApps is able to do and much more. It's a RAD tool with a lot of features.
It can do everything InfoPath was able to do
Seems to be the underrated platform out there. Couldn't find an alternative to InfoPath that literally has all the features of InfoPath.
