Claudoscope reads the session files that Claude Code and Claude Cowork write to your Mac and shows them in a menu bar widget and a dashboard window. It works only from local files. There is no account and no telemetry, and the only network call is the update check.
Two views do most of the work. Fleet is a live board of every Claude Code session from the last 24 hours across all your projects. Sessions waiting on you come first, with how long they have been waiting and why they stopped, plus context size and spend per hour for each one. Session Replay, in the Trace tab, lays a single session out on a timeline with prompts, tool calls, subagents, errors, context fill and running cost, then plays it back at several speeds so you can see exactly what Claude did and when.
Each session also opens as a chat transcript with token counts and estimated cost on every message. You can search inside a conversation, see each file edit as a diff, check how full the context window got, and hide thinking and tool calls in Focus mode.
Cost analytics add up input, output and cache tokens and price them with Anthropic or Vertex AI rates, broken down over time, by project and by session. Cost alerts can fire on a single session, a rolling window, a day or a month. They are off by default.
Session notifications tell you when Claude needs an answer or has finished a turn. Clicking one brings up the terminal tab running that session in Ghostty, iTerm2 or Terminal.app.
Other features:
- Secret detection that scans session history for leaked credentials
- 85 lint rules for CLAUDE.md files, skills and hooks
- A one-click, reversible security baseline for ~/.claude/ (deny rules, hooks, sandbox), with 13 checks that flag drift
- Browsers for settings, skills, MCP servers, plans, hooks, commands, agents and memory
- An optional read-only MCP server so Claude Code can answer questions about your own usage
Requires macOS 14 or later on Apple Silicon.
