    ChessRoots is described as 'I am a pretty mediocre chess player, but at the start of 2019 I was playing a lot of online Blitz. My opening repertoire was pretty slim and I felt myself repeating the same mistakes'. There are more than 10 games similar to ChessRoots for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Mac, Android, iPhone and Online / Web-based. The best alternative is Lichess, which is both free and Open Source. Other ChessRoots like games are Scid vs. PC (Free, Open Source), Chessmaster (Paid), Fritz (Paid) and Brutal Chess (Free, Open Source).
