For amateurs, like me, it is a really strong opponent already at level 1 with opening books disabled, taking very few seconds to compute the entire game and beat me.

Awesome work!

To think that to they had to achieve this on a relatively limited hardware (still better than computers from the 1980 though) is impressive and one can see the entire sources. Already for the sources the project is amazing as it is a lot of good learning material.

  • 5 strength levels (that one can tune with or without opening books)
  • 1000 chess puzzles
