What is Chess Coach: Openings?

Chess Coach: Openings turns opening study into something you do, not something you watch.

Pick an opening and a side, then drill it move by move. Play the right move and you get a green card explaining the idea (why this square, what the threat is). Miss it and it shows the move you should have played. Every move is graded against real opening theory, and known sidelines are named (Najdorf, Berlin, Winawer, and dozens more) so you learn the whole map of the opening.

Includes a full White repertoire (Italian, Ruy Lopez, Queen's Gambit, London, English…) and Black defences (Sicilian, French, Caro-Kann, Scandinavian, King's Indian). Tracks a high score per opening and side.

Runs fully on-device, no account needed. Free with optional ads and a one-time unlock for unlimited play.
