    They're both good, both support rar5 which remains unsupported by many other readers. The only reason I swapped my CDisplay 1.8 over to CDisplayEx was due to getting a new laptop and 1.8 was 'pausing' - sort of freezing for maybe 3 to 10 seconds at a time - tried half-heartedly to find the cause, but switched to Ex and never looked back - If the pausing problem had never been encountered then I would most likely still be using 1.8 now.
