What is CanUSign?

CanUSign is an e-signature tool where the recipient can check for themselves that a document is genuine and unchanged.

You upload a PDF, place the signature fields and send a link. Signers do not need an account. The finished PDF carries an RFC 3161 timestamp from DigiCert, an audit certificate with document ID, QR code and the time of each signature, and the document ID on every page. On the public verification page anyone can compare a PDF with the stored version; the file does not leave the browser.

Legally it is a simple electronic signature under eIDAS (Art. 3(10), Art. 25). It is valid where no written form is required by law.

Price: EUR 1.49 per document, from EUR 0.50 in a pack, Pro at EUR 15 per month. No subscription required.

Processing in Frankfurt: application on Vercel (region fra1), database on Neon (eu-central-1), PDF generation on Google Cloud (europe-west3). Operated by Devin Lemcke Capital UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Hamburg, Germany.

For developers there is a REST API with webhooks and an MCP server.

Interface in English, German, Spanish and French.
