Burnin information
What is Burnin?
No account. No server. Your food log, weight history and meal photos stay on your phone, and you can take all of it with you whenever you want.
Burnin is not open source. The AI, however, is not somebody else's either: photo and natural language food logging run on a model on your device, so every AI feature works in airplane mode and nothing is sent anywhere to be processed.
What it does that other trackers don't:
Your metabolic rate is measured, not guessed. Most calorie apps run a formula on your height, age and sex, call the result your maintenance calories, and never check whether it was right. When the weight doesn't move, you're left assuming you're the problem. Burnin compares what you actually logged against what the scale actually did and continuously solves for the number that reconciles them. It doesn't need your logging to be accurate, only consistent. Weight forecasts at 7, 14 and 30 days come as ranges with a confidence badge rather than a single number.
Log by typing in plain language, speaking, scanning a barcode, or photographing the plate. Everything lands in the same editable card before it saves. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show calories and macros remaining.
Available in English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
Free, with a single banner ad on the profile tab. It never appears on the logging screens and never affects a calculation.
