Budgetto

Budgetto is a free personal budgeting app built and maintained in Belgium by GY Digital.

It works differently from most budget apps in one specific way: there is no bank connection, and there never will be. You enter your expenses and income yourself, or you set up your fixed costs once as recurring items. That is slower than automatic syncing, but nobody gets access to your account, and you notice what you spend at the moment you spend it.

The forecast is the main feature. Budgetto looks at your own history, recognises expenses that return every month, factors in the trend of recent months and the season, and estimates what will be left over the coming months.

Everything is free. There is no subscription, no trial period and no paid tier. There are no ads, no trackers and no selling of data. Your data sits on a server in the European Union, and you can export everything to CSV or a JSON backup.

Available in Dutch, French and English. It runs in the browser on phone, tablet and computer.
