Terrific lightweight distribution. It flies on a desktop that I built in 2011 and runs serviceably on a 2007 MacBook with 1 GB of RAM. Comes with very few applications and is easy to customize. Well-worth a look for old computers.
Pros Without bloatware GUI Small collection of apps for those who need their device for limited range of tasks/have no time for experimenting
Cons Surprisingly heavy for what they claim to be Not for the fans of complicated apps borrowed from Windows
Recently installed Bodhi onto my laptop, using 0.1.6RC. As it stands I wouldn't have been shocked if they considered this 1.0Stable. Enlightenment window manager stands head and shoulders above Gnome or KDE, feeling less bloated, slicker and extremely customizable.
Bodhi utilises Englightenment on a clean system, allowing the user to be in control of what software they install, rather than have 1.5+ GB of apps installed which are never used.
