Sighthound is extremely basic really. It doesn't support PTZ, it only supports AAC for audio on Mac (does support a few others on Windows), it doesn't support mechanical zooms...basically, anything your camera does more than video recording, Sighthound does not support.
I think it is a pretty good bit of software and one day may be amazing, but it is currently nothing better than an alpha product still developing many features that most other NVR Software packages already support.
