    Blockada is a system-wide adblocker that works on that device no matter which network you connected it to. Pi-hole is an ad-blocking solution that block ads at the network level, requiring a device like Raspberry Pi to be attached to that network and doesn't work when you connect to mobile data or other people's network (unless they also have Pi Hole set up).

    An ad blocker that uses the hosts file. The hosts file contains a list of mappings between hostnames and IP addresses. When an app requests an ad, that request is directed to 127.0.0.1 which does nothing.
