What is BeamerPresenter?
BeamerPresenter shows a presentation and (optionally) notes for the speaker in different windows. Notes can be provided as separate PDF document or in markdown format. Along with the notes, BeamerPresenter show previews of the next slides, a clock and a timer.

- Videos in the presentation
- draw and highlight in the presentation, focus your audience' attention using a pointer, torch and magnifier
- drawing optimized for tablet input, using file format compatible with Xournal++, per-slide drawing history, ...
- Prerendering slides to compressed cache (cache size can be configured)
- Slide transitions (as defined in the PDF)
- LaTeX beamer option "show slides on second screen"
- read polylux .pdfpc files (PDF overlays and markdown notes)
- fully modular user interface: adjust to your use case and hardware (e.g. presentation, interactive lecture, ...)
- choose Poppler, MuPDF or Qt PDF as PDF engine
BeamerPresenter is only tested regularly on GNU/Linux systems, but the framework (Qt with cmake) is platform independent. Packages are available for Nix, Arch/Manjaro (via AUR), Ubuntu 24.04/22.04/20.04 (and instructions for building on newer versions) and flatpak. For Windows, instructions are provided to build BeamerPresenter using MSYS2. Building on Mac with homebrew should also be possible.
