Ayatsuri2D

Free, open-source rigging editor for Live2D-style models. Opens and exports moc3, so models work in VTube Studio. Windows, macOS and Linux.

A warp deformer with Bezier handles over the whole model, keyed to the head parameters. Points land exactly where you let go, even through bent warps.

What is Ayatsuri2D?

Ayatsuri2D turns layered artwork (PSD or Krita) into a rigged 2D character: layers become meshes, warp and rotation deformers bend them, parameters with keyforms and 2D pads drive them, physics swings hair and clothing, and animation scenes and expressions move the rest. It reads and writes moc3 (3.0 to 5.3), physics3, motion3 and exp3, and speaks Cubism Editor's integration API, so VTube Studio and other Cubism-compatible apps connect unchanged. GPL-3.0, no account, no subscription, no licence restrictions on exported models. Native on Windows, macOS and Linux and light enough for two cores and integrated graphics.
