What is Griotta?

Griotta is an iPhone app for the moment before an impulse purchase.

You choose the apps where your spending usually starts. When you open one, Griotta appears first with a short breathing pause. Then you decide: walk away, plan it, or buy now. All three are real choices. Griotta never locks you out and never treats buying as failure.

There is no bank connection and no transaction tracking. Griotta is not a budgeting app or a permanent blocker. It adds a moment between the urge and the purchase so speed does not make the decision.

On iPhone, the apps you choose stay private on your device through Apple Screen Time. Griotta never receives which apps you select, the merchant, cart, or item.
