Aula Magna is a student platform for schools that are too small for an enterprise system and too busy for nine separate tools. A business school, a language academy, a K-12 school or a university department registers in a few minutes, puts its own name, colours and domain on the platform, and runs the term from one screen.
Attendance takes seconds: the teacher opens the class and a QR code rotates on the screen; students scan it from the app. Online classes count attendance when a student joins the video call. A class where the teacher forgot to take the register does not punish anyone.
A gradebook everyone can read: one grid the teacher fills in quickly and the student understands at a glance, with coursework, deadlines and submissions next to the class they belong to.
Timetable and calendars: upload the timetable in whatever file you have (a spreadsheet, a PDF, a photo of the wall) and the platform reads it into a draft for you to check and publish. Students, teachers and administrators each get a calendar that fits their day.
Fees without a spreadsheet: invoices, instalments and due dates per student. Families send a receipt from the app; the office confirms it with one click.
The early-warning radar: three weeks into term, the platform starts reading attendance, hand-ins and marks together and flags the students who are drifting, with a reason. Not before, because a dashboard that judges students in week one teaches staff to ignore it.
Also: mentoring sessions students can book, a job feed matched to the programme, an alumni club, signed certificates and transcripts with a verification code, parent access, announcements and messaging.
Works on any phone; native iOS and Android apps are in beta. Nine interface languages (English, Spanish, Catalan, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Azerbaijani, Russian). Data hosted in the EU with a signed data-processing agreement; exports in open formats any day you ask. LTI 1.3 integration with any major LMS, video-conferencing integration, online payments.
Three ways to run it: the Community edition is free, open source and self-hosted (the record-keeping core on your own server); the Full version is hosted and maintained by the makers for a per-student monthly fee with a 30-day free trial; White Label adds a dedicated account manager and priority onboarding.
