apreet is an app for business travelers that shows you who you already know near each trip destination.
It reads the titles, times and locations of your calendar events and builds your itinerary: each city, and the airports on the way. It then places the people in your address book next to each stop. Contacts don't need the app for these destination suggestions, as long as your address book has their city.
When friends and colleagues also use apreet, trips that overlap in time and place become mutual itinerary matches, as long as you have each other's numbers on both phones. It matches you with contacts at the same airport at the same time, including on layovers. And it finds the conferences and trade fairs in your calendar: confirm one with a switch to see which of your contacts are going, and when they arrive. Only your contacts, never an attendee list.
Works with your AI assistant: connect Claude or ChatGPT to apreet through MCP and ask in plain language, for example "Who can I meet on my next trip?" or "Who do I know in Lisbon?" For a city, apreet answers with the contacts in the city itself and those based within about 50 miles (80 km). You approve what the assistant may see, and you can disconnect it at any time.
apreet never reads your calendar or contact notes, never broadcasts your location, and never shows you to strangers. Free during the public beta on iPhone (TestFlight) and Android (Play Beta).
