What is AppTones?

Push sounds to your friends! An amazing new way of sending messages.

AppTones is the first messaging app that allows you to select your own alert sound to accompany your message. Instead of the standard text notification, you can surprise your friends with a honking car horn, an evil laugh or even a kiss!

AppTones users can exchange free text messages with surprising sounds over the iPhone and iPad. This application features pre-written phrases and icons with associated sounds that can be combined to send attention-grabbing messages at the touch of a finger. Users can also compose their own messages and add a sound icon from the package.

AppTones works through your iPhone's internet connection, so you can send a text to any other AppTones user in the world for free - no texting fees, roaming fees or international fees.
