Lili, I'm sorry you had such a bad experience with the program. I have personally used AppRemover many times, for easy removal of old anti-virus programs, or to get rid of stubborn anti-virus programs not wanting to uninstall. I've always had good experiences with this program, and I do like the fact that they update frequently.
This product messed up my computer entirely to the point I had to reinstall windows. It did remove my Avast! AV but it completly messed up something in the registry and my computer would not reboot.
DO NOT USE IT!!!!
btw - the support link on the product did not help at all (they do not reply to my emails).
