I've used Apex Pro for 5 or 6 years, across four different makes and models of Android phones. I always loved it.
Until Android v10 got released last fall, and my phone updated to it in September 2019. Since then, Apex crashes on going to desktop more often than not. Many dozens of bug reports, several direct emails, reports through Google Play, nothing has gotten any response at all from the developers. I'm done.
Don't get Apex. I'm here specifically researching a replacement, and made this account for the sole purpose of telling you: Don't. Get. Apex.
Over the past year, it's gradually gone down the sh*ter and now I can't recommend it for anyone. Unless you like formally loved apps that have been bought by some shady Chinese company to give unsuspecting users adware.
I've used Apex Launcher for about a year and then now when the latest update arrived it started to chrash on my Galaxy SII.
Anyway, it was good until then ;)
