What is Annoture?

Annoture is a visual bug reporting tool for QA testers, developers and product teams.

With the Annoture Chrome extension, you click the broken element on any web page (production, staging or localhost) and Annoture creates a bug report automatically. Each report includes a full-page screenshot with the clicked element marked, the page URL, browser and version, operating system, viewport size, the DOM element selector, and any console errors. You add a short title, description and a severity, then submit.

Reports land on a shared Kanban board where the team can assign, comment on and move them through their workflow.

Integrations:

  • GitHub: captured bugs are filed as GitHub Issues automatically
  • Jira: captured bugs are created as Jira issues, with the screenshot and metadata included
  • Slack, Linear and Figma integrations are in development

Pricing:

  • Free plan with no time limit: 3 projects, 5 team members, 100 screenshots per month
