What is Animica?

Animica.dev is the developer, AI, and compute platform of the Animica ecosystem—a place to use decentralized AI, build applications, deploy Python code, run autonomous agents, generate media, and earn ANM for contributing useful compute.

At its core is a free AI platform that requires no API key or signup to start. Developers can access chat, coding assistance, embeddings, image generation, video, music, and an OpenAI-compatible API by pointing compatible software at animica.dev/v1. (animica.dev)

Animica.dev also includes an agentic coding environment. Developers can describe an application and have multiple AI agents plan, write, critique, and assemble the project. The Animica CLI brings similar capabilities to the terminal, where the coding agent can inspect files, edit code, execute commands, diagnose errors, and work across a repository. (animica.dev)

Animica Python Cloud provides a path from code to a live service. Developers can write a Python function, deploy it, and receive a public HTTPS endpoint without managing their own server or containers. Deployments are anchored on the Animica blockchain while execution occurs off-chain in sandboxed environments. When users spend ANM to execute a function, 80% of that usage payment goes to its developer. (animica.dev)

The platform also provides Animica Workers for scheduled AI-powered jobs and automation. Workers can execute prompts, call deployed endpoints, publish results, maintain logs, retry failures, and run recurring tasks while their creator is away. (animica.dev)

For compute-intensive workloads, Animica.dev connects users with the network’s GPU infrastructure. Its media tools support image, video, and audio generation, while specialized GPU studios provide workloads including video processing, audio processing, and distributed Blender rendering. Jobs are dispatched to participating GPU miners rather than being rendered directly on Animica’s central servers. (animica.dev)

Animica.dev is also the gateway to the Animica Internet, where .anm names can represent applications, agents, AI services, businesses, or personal sites. Content can be published by hash and accessed through ordinary browsers using the Animica.dev gateway. (animica.dev)

Together, these systems make Animica.dev more than an AI chatbot or developer dashboard. It’s an integrated environment for going from an idea to AI-generated code, deploying that code, exposing it through an API, automating it, publishing applications and agents, accessing distributed GPU compute, and participating economically through ANM—all within the broader post-quantum Animica network.
