AnimGen information
What is AnimGen?
AnimGen is a browser-based animation workflow for game developers. It can turn a character image into a motion preview using supported AI video models, or import an existing MP4, WebM, or MOV clip. Users can review footage frame by frame, set the in and out points, preview a loop, and control frame count and output size before exporting.
Exports include an MP4 clip, a ZIP archive of PNG frames, a sprite sheet PNG with JSON frame metadata, and a Unity-oriented package containing sprite assets, .meta files, JSON data, and import notes. Optional color-key and matting tools can create transparency during export.
AnimGen uses a freemium credit model with recurring free credits and optional paid subscriptions or one-time credit packs. It is designed for preparing 2D game animation assets rather than general-purpose video editing.
