What is AirCheck?

AirCheck records what your Mac is playing, or any Core Audio input, straight to a WAV or MP3 file. It uses Apple's ScreenCaptureKit for system audio, so there is no virtual driver to install and nothing rerouted in your sound settings. Pick a source, press record, find the file in the Music folder. Built for long, unrepeatable takes: a watchdog notices a stalled input within seconds and restarts capture into the same file. Multi-channel interfaces get a channel-pair picker. macOS 14 or later, Apple silicon and Intel. $39 once, no subscription.
