What is AI Alleyway?
AI Alleyway is a browser extension that puts a searchable index of independent AI-tool reviews in your toolbar. Type a tool name and it returns the rating, the verdict and the category for tools that have been tested and written up, so you can check a tool before you sign up for it rather than after.
It requests zero browser permissions. There is no content script, no host access and no telemetry. The catalog ships inside the extension as a static JSON file and all searching happens locally, so the extension cannot see the pages you visit and sends nothing anywhere.
The source is MIT licensed and public, and the catalog format is documented.
