ahfornitaniGoogle Web Designer has very poor functionality compared to Edge Animate. Very limited drag 'n' drop support, the layering system is weird, setting interactions and animations. The good thing is that is currently in development, and is multi-platform for free.

It does not work with video the way Edge Animate does. Edge Animate imports mp4, ogv and webm files just fine, Animate CC won't import any of those.
