Comments and Reviews
A new alternative to free and open source download managers like XDM, Motrix or ImFile. Not as mature as them yet but goes in the right direction and has a clean an modern looking interface already. They also have an active Telegram group to discuss issues and features.
Garbage. Every single download task from every single website ended with downloading .html or .php file instead of requested file.
I like it. Easy to use. After 15 years of using IDM, I think I've finally found a good replacement. There are some UI bugs, like padding and margins, but that is nothing.
AB Download Manager is perfectly well designed compared to almost all other download managers. Works perfectly on macos
It has a clean, user-friendly interface. It does not automatically detect video streams when playing videos in browsers, requiring users to manually find and add source URLs for video downloads. It currently does not offer a site grabber feature.
This is the best free download manager I have ever used.
Seems okay for an open source download manager however when playing videos it does not pop up a download with ab like idm has when you start playing a video so in order to download the video you need to find the source url & add it. Also this does not work on windows 7 this is most likely a 10 & up only can only hope they add the compatibility for people who prefer to use 7 as their windows os.
It's 2024 (2025 now). What the f. you want from Win 7? :D It's just dumb. Surely nobody tests applications on a shit end of life product. There is absolute no reason for that.
