Tailwind Labs joins Shopify and keeps Tailwind CSS MIT-licensed

Tailwind Labs is joining Shopify, where its team will continue to lead and maintain Tailwind CSS and the company's other open-source projects.

Tailwind says those projects will remain MIT-licensed and that nothing changes for existing open-source users.

It is closing new sign-ups for commercial products including Tailwind Plus and ui.sh, while existing customers will retain access.
