SteamDB joins Nexus Mods while remaining a separate service

Nexus Mods has taken over SteamDB, with creator xPaw continuing to support the transition over the coming months.

SteamDB will retain its name, brand, community spaces, free access, browser extension and status as a separate service that does not require a Nexus Mods account.

Nexus Mods says it will provide funding for staff, infrastructure, security, scalability and game keys, while exploring how SteamDB’s game-version data could eventually support mod compatibility tools.
