Asahi Linux adds Expert mode support for M3 Macs
Asahi Linux now officially supports M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max Macs through its installer’s Expert mode.
The initial release includes webcams, microphones, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 3 at up to 10 Gb/s, and hardware-accelerated video decoding with AV1 support.
GPU acceleration and full DCP display support are still pending, leaving sleep and HDMI unavailable on affected MacBooks, while the M3 Ultra Mac Studio is not yet supported.
