
Fedora Asahi Remix 41 has been released to bring Fedora Linux 41 to Apple Silicon Macs
The Fedora team has announced the general availability of Fedora Asahi Remix 41, bringing Fedora Linux 41 to Apple Silicon Macs. This release integrates x86/x86-64 emulation, supporting AAA games on Apple Silicon through the new Vulkan 1.4 driver, and maintains extensive device support, including high-quality audio.
Fedora Asahi Remix 41 offers KDE Plasma 6.2 as its flagship desktop environment, with a custom Calamares-based setup wizard. A GNOME variant is also available, featuring GNOME 47, aligning with Fedora Linux offerings. Additionally, a Fedora Server variant is available for server workloads and headless deployments, alongside a Minimal image for custom builds.
Users can install Fedora Asahi Remix by following the installation guide, while existing systems running Fedora Asahi Remix 39 or 40 can be updated through the standard Fedora upgrade process.
