Proxmox VE launches official Arm64 support with full feature parity and NVIDIA Grace

Proxmox Server Solutions has introduced the first officially supported Arm64 edition of Proxmox Virtual Environment, expanding the platform beyond x86-64 architectures. Available since August 5, 2026, the release brings Proxmox VE to Arm-based enterprise servers while maintaining the same virtualization and management stack available on x86-64 systems.

The Arm64 edition offers full feature parity with existing builds, including KVM virtualization, LXC containers, networking, clustering, backups, ZFS, and Ceph through the same web-based management interface. NVIDIA Grace and Vera CPU architectures are supported from launch, with Proxmox working with NVIDIA and Supermicro to validate the platform on NVIDIA Grace Hopper systems for data center, cloud, and AI workloads.

Proxmox VE for Arm64 remains open-source and is available through bare-metal ISO images and package repositories alongside x86-64 builds. Proxmox says the Arm64 edition is already running in select enterprise production environments, while enterprise support plans with updates and direct technical assistance are available upon request.
