UptimeRobot acquires IsDown to combine site and third-party monitoring

UptimeRobot has acquired IsDown, bringing monitoring for over 6,000 cloud and SaaS providers into its platform.

The acquisition aims to let users see both their own system status and that of key dependencies in one place.

IsDown customers will see no immediate changes, and work is underway to integrate its features with UptimeRobot.

The combined data also supports new reporting and early outage detection.
