PhpStorm 2026.2 adds GitHub Copilot, AI agents, and TypeScript 7 support

PhpStorm 2026.2 now offers native GitHub Copilot integration and expanded support for third-party AI code completion providers.

The update introduces an Agent skills manager for persistent AI knowledge across sessions, a dedicated Laravel tool window, and TypeScript 7 support for improved project speed.

Further enhancements include streamlined Git workflows, drag-and-drop capabilities in terminal sessions, and several quality-of-life improvements to the IDE’s UI and database tools.
