Kagi launches mobile apps for its AI assistant & currency conversion to its search engine

Kagi Assistant is now available as a native app for both iOS and Android, allowing users to access AI-powered assistance, web search, file management, and research tools directly from their mobile devices. Your threads and custom assistants remain synchronized, ensuring you can continue previous conversations and workflows seamlessly across platforms.

Additionally, the update introduces new privacy controls, letting users export or permanently delete all their Kagi Assistant threads in one step from the settings. For improved support and transparency, users can now report problematic assistant responses directly within conversations by selecting the thumbs-down button. Submitting a report shares the entire thread with Kagi for review, after which the report and copy of the thread are automatically deleted from review records after 30 days.

Following these feature updates, the Kagi Search results page now offers a more discoverable and user-friendly interface. Enhancements to the filter bar, domain options, and menus aim to clarify and streamline the search experience. In addition, a built-in currency conversion widget now enables quick access to real-time exchange rates, which is useful for trip planning, overseas purchases, or tracking currency trends. The release also brings additional improvements and bug fixes across the platform.
