Telegram brings guest bots, custom AI styles, chat automation, and expanded emoji search

Telegram’s latest update delivers expanded AI integration, automation, and several usability improvements. AI assistants and other bots can now be mentioned in any chat, regardless of membership, allowing them to answer questions, generate text or images, and perform diverse tasks while maintaining strict privacy. Bots only see the specific message they are tagged in and its replies, preventing them from accessing broader chat content or user lists.

Following these AI changes, bots have gained the ability to respond to each other and stream responses as they are generated, supporting workflow automation and real-time interaction. Users may now connect a bot to their profile, enabling the bot to respond to messages on their behalf, further enhancing personal communication automation.

Building on creative features, the update allows users to craft custom text editor styles based on personalized prompts and share them via links. Over 100 million user-generated emoji and stickers are now searchable in the sticker panel, streamlining expression in chats. For admins, group and channel polls now display interactive voting graphs, while new tools let channel admins define poll eligibility by subscription status or country. Additional conveniences include silent scheduled message delivery and options for group admins to remove specific users’ message reactions, aiding community moderation.

"Users may now connect a bot to their profile, enabling the bot to respond to messages on their behalf, further enhancing personal communication automation."

Why do you need an app for communications if it is just a chat for bots to talk to each other? And "personal communication automation" is an oxymoron. If it is a personal communication, I need a living person on the other end.
