Prime Video introduces Clips, a vertical feed of sharable moments from movies and series
Amazon has introduced Clips, a scrollable, vertical feed of short video moments drawn from movies and series throughout the Prime Video mobile experience. While Clips originally launched showcasing NBA highlights, it now extends to a wider library of entertainment content.
To use the feature, users can scroll to the Clips carousel on the Prime Video mobile home page and tap any video to enter a full-screen, personalized feed. Each visit presents new selections, tailored to individual viewing histories. From within Clips, users can take multiple actions: watch the full title, rent or buy content, subscribe for access, save to a watchlist, or share and like clips directly.
This new experience is currently available to select users in the United States on iOS, Android, and Fire tablets. Prime Video plans to offer global availability to all supported mobile devices later this summer.

Sharing a movie clip on social media could have been interesting, but for copyright, big cash and because-it's-Amazon reasons, it only shares a link that opens the Prime app to see the clip (or ask the user to install the app).
Again, a neat idea but a boring implementation.
