Marked 3 brings DOCX import/export, custom processors & styles, and Scrivener rendering

Marked 3 is now available as the latest major version of this Markdown preview application for macOS, bringing a broad set of upgrades for document processing and workflow flexibility. The update introduces DOCX export with advanced features such as change tracking conversion, comments, and math block support. Users can also now import DOCX files and convert them to Markdown with tracked changes preserved.

These improvements are joined by new support for CommonMark, including GitHub Flavored Markdown extensions, and Kramdown processors. Marked 3 also features an all new Scrivener rendering mode with live preview capabilities. Advanced users benefit from the introduction of custom processors, allowing for user-defined rules and specialized workflows.

Following these core changes, Marked 3 adds an auto-scroll feature based on words per minute, enhances EPUB export with custom CSS, and enables wiki navigation with backlinks. Additional workflow tools include a comment and footnote sidebar, TextBundle and TextPack import/export, and support for Bear and Obsidian callouts.

Further document management improvements include new PDF export options with images in headers and footers. Users also gain export profiles for saving export settings, the Style Stealer tool for copying styles, and Style Manager for organizing built-in and custom styles.
