Alibaba unveils Qwen3.7-Max for code writing, workflow automation and autonomous execution

Alibaba has launched Qwen3.7-Max, its newest proprietary foundation model for advanced agent-driven applications. The model is engineered for flexible deployment across code generation, office workflow automation, and sustained reasoning over hundreds or thousands of sequential steps.

Following its model announcement, Alibaba emphasized Qwen3.7-Max’s strengths as a coding agent. The model can manage tasks ranging from simple frontend prototypes to complex engineering projects involving multiple files. It works consistently across popular agent deployment frameworks, including Claude Code, OpenClaw, and Qwen Code. This makes it a viable tool for developers seeking broad compatibility and stable performance.
