ExpressVPN launches ExpressAI, a privacy focused AI hub for large language models
ExpressVPN has introduced ExpressAI, a privacy focused AI hub that gives users access to multiple Large Language Models. The product gives users access to multiple large language models while using confidential computing environments, or secure enclaves, to keep conversations and encryption keys cryptographically isolated from the surrounding infrastructure. The company says this design prevents ExpressVPN, cloud operators, and model providers from accessing user chats or data.
ExpressAI is based on three privacy standards: zero training, meaning conversations are not used to train models, zero access, meaning chats and stored data are only accessible to the user, and zero compromise, referring to access to five AI models in a single interface. Users can enable Ghost Mode for disappearing chats, keep conversation history protected with zero access encryption, and store uploaded files and images under the same approach.
After an independent audit by cybersecurity firm Cure53, ExpressVPN says all identified frontend and backend vulnerabilities were fixed before launch. ExpressAI became available to new and existing ExpressVPN Pro users on March 31, 2026, as part of a bundle priced at $4.87 per month. The platform includes 500 daily credits, a 50 MB upload limit per file, 2 GB of secure storage, and five models for tasks such as reasoning, coding, and technical analysis.
