The AI app builder tool Figma Make is exiting beta phase and is now available to all users
Figma’s new AI-powered app building tool Figma Make is now available to all users, ending the beta phase it has been in since its introduction in May, which was previously limited to Full Seat subscribers.
Similar to other AI app builders like Lovable, Google Stitch, and the recently opened-to-public-preview GitHub Spark, Figma Make lets users generate functional app prototypes from natural language prompts like “an animated music player” without needing to code, and with support for design references, letting users upload images or Figma files to guide visual output. Visual elements like fonts and text formatting can be refined using prompts or manual edits.
Users on View, Collab, Dev, and Starter plans can now try Figma Make within personal drafts, although publishing remains limited to Full Seat subscriptions, with no date yet announced for broader access. This rollout also includes other AI tools like an image generator and a resolution booster, all managed under a new AI credit system where Full Seat users currently have unlimited credits, while lower-tier plans come with usage caps.
