News Explorer enhances Google News RSS, adds hashtag feeds and Raindrop sharing

News Explorer 2.2 introduces full-text support and preview thumbnails for Google News RSS feeds by pre-processing articles in List and Timeline views to extract original links and metadata. This enhances readability but may slightly slow down loading times.

Users can now follow hashtag timeline feeds from Bluesky and Mastodon by entering terms like #comics, and Bluesky verification badges are now supported. Articles can also be shared directly to Raindrop.io with optional tags, while Pocket support has been removed due to the service’s deactivation, and Instapaper sharing now requires re-authentication.

Filtering options have improved with a new 'Feed link' parameter and clearer labels for feed and folder filters. Time filters now support a 0-day setting, and YouTube issues have been fixed, including restored comments for Shorts and resolution of error 4.
