The Xbox app on PC adds unified library for Steam and Battle.net games on Windows
Microsoft has begun testing a new aggregated gaming library in the Xbox PC app for Windows, allowing users to view and launch games from Steam and Battle.net directly within the Xbox PC app, expanding its role as a central launcher for most installed PC games from supported storefronts.
Games from connected third-party storefronts will automatically appear in the "My Library" section and the "Most recent" sidebar. Users can also hide individual storefronts in the Library & Extensions settings to control which platforms are visible in their library.
Only Xbox Insiders currently have access to the feature. To join the test, users can download the Xbox Insider Hub and enroll in the PC gaming preview program. Microsoft plans to expand the rollout of the consolidated gaming feature in 2025, including support for devices like the recently announced ROG Xbox Ally handhelds and their new optimized Windows experience for gaming. Future updates will also add compatibility with more PC storefronts.
That means more gaming data for Microsoft I guess
