Spark revives classic inbox style and multi-window support for flexible email management
Email client Spark has reintroduced two features from Spark Classic, following user feedback. Users can now choose between three inbox views: Focused List, Unread Cards, and Simple List, allowing users to tailor their email management approach to suit their workflow.
Each inbox view serves a specific need. Focused List sorts messages into Personal, Newsletter, and Notification categories, helping to streamline attention. Unread Cards organizes unread messages into distinct sections like People, Notifications, and Newsletters, reducing the effort needed to find missed emails. Meanwhile, Simple List offers a unified, chronological view of all emails, a familiar setup for long-time Spark users who prefer straightforward browsing.
Following these changes, Spark has also added multi-window support — a feature also brought back from Spark Classic. Users can open multiple email windows at once, supporting both focused work and multitasking scenarios, aiming to improve adaptability in how emails are handled day-to-day.
