Notesnook 3.2 released with improved search, archiving, streamlined importing, and more
Notesnook 3.2.0 is now available as the latest release of this open source, end-to-end encrypted note-taking application. This version introduces substantial improvements to the search feature. Users can now benefit from token by token search highlighting, more accurate relevance-based sorting, multiple options to sort results by criteria such as title or date, a new ability to jump directly to specific search results within notes, and reduced false positives for more precise queries.
Following the search enhancements, this update debuts a long-awaited archiving feature. Users are now able to move notes into an archive, making them visible and searchable only within that section. The importer tool has also been moved directly into the web and desktop applications. By integrating the importer, Notesnook now offers a simplified migration experience and removes the need to switch between multiple pages during the import process.
Other workflow enhancements include the ability to set any tag as default, ensuring it is automatically applied to all new notes. Additional fixes and user experience improvements are included to further refine daily use.
