KDE Plasma 6.4 released with many exciting enhancements, learn what's new!

KDE has released Plasma 6.4, bringing new options for organizing virtual workspaces on this popular Linux desktop environment. Users can now customize tile layouts for each virtual desktop, letting them tailor arrangements to suit different activities or projects.

Additionally, the Wayland session introduces new accessibility features. Pointer movement is now possible via the keyboard's number pad. Users can also zoom in or out using a three-finger pinch gesture on the touchpad. KRunner, KDE’s multifunction command launcher, now includes a color visualization feature. Entering a color as a hexadecimal code, number, or CSS/SVG name generates an on-screen display showing the color and its equivalents in multiple formats.

Following these enhancements, Spectacle — KDE’s screenshot and screen recording tool — has received performance and usability updates to support faster, more flexible capturing workflows. Alongside these main features, Plasma 6.4 brings better High Dynamic Range (HDR) and color management, improved support for drawing tablets, refined notifications, a more polished user interface, advanced system monitoring, and enhanced desktop widgets for added convenience.

The headline style for this article is really unusual. It's completely different to the style of headlines in other articles.

I agree, the headline should be more neutral.

Not everything needs to be neutral. Maybe Paul loves KDE. I do.
