ElevenLabs launches a new AI assistant with MCP support, and new mobile apps
ElevenLabs has launched 11ai, a new AI voice assistant powered by its library of over 5,000 synthetic voices. It integrates with Anthropic’s Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling secure, permission-based connections to platforms like Slack, Google Calendar, and Perplexity, enabling users to perform complex tasks across multiple third-party services.
11ai includes the option to clone a user’s voice for more personalized use, with controls over how the voice can be used. Voice data is deleted after three years of inactivity. ElevenLabs’ privacy policy states that user interactions may be used to improve its models, but identifiable information is disassociated or removed where possible. The assistant is currently in alpha and available for free testing, with options to choose language, voice, integrations, and custom behavior.
Alongside 11ai, the company has also released new mobile apps for iOS and Android. The apps support generating voiceovers in 70 languages using the Eleven v3 Text to Speech model. Projects and credits sync across web and mobile, with 10,000 free characters per month. Voiceovers can also be exported to editing or social media apps for easier publishing.
